About the Author:
Diana Licalzi is a registered dietitian and cookbook author originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. She currently resides in London, England, with her husband, Andrew, and son, Mateo. She received her education and dietetics training from Villanova University, Tufts University, and UC San Diego Health. In addition to postpartum nutrition, Diana also specializes in diabetes management. She runs the Type 2 Diabetes Revolution, an online platform that counsels individuals on how to adopt nutrition and lifestyle modifications to treat prediabetes and type 2 diabetes. Diana has also authored several cookbooks, including Drinking for Two, Mocktail Party, The Type 2 Diabetes Revolution, and The Postpartum Nutrition Cookbook.
Kerry Benson, MS, RD, LDN, is a registered dietitian and holds a master’s degree in Nutritional Epidemiology from Tufts University. Prior to becoming a dietitian, she earned a master’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience and worked in an academic research lab for more than six years studying the effects of alcohol exposure during pregnancy on the developing brain. This experience sparked her interest in the topic of drinking, particularly in the context of pregnancy, and inspired her to embark on an alcohol-free journey.
